BIELLA, Italy — Accademia Unidee–Fondazione Pistoletto has announced an extension of the application deadline for its international scholarship program supporting participation in the Advanced Program in Contemporary Public Art 2026–27. Candidates now have until June 30, 2026, to submit applications for scholarship opportunities associated with the postgraduate program beginning in October 2026.
The extension comes in response to an exceptionally high volume of applications from artists and cultural practitioners around the world. According to the institution, the additional time will allow more candidates to apply for funding opportunities and join the internationally focused educational initiative.
One-Year Postgraduate Program Focused on Art and Social Impact
The Advanced Program in Contemporary Public Art is a one-year postgraduate educational experience designed for artists who want to deepen their artistic research while examining the role of art in social transformation.
Hosted by Accademia Unidee at Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto in Biella, Italy, the program combines artistic practice, critical theory, project-based learning, and direct engagement with communities, institutions, and broader social contexts.

Three Full Scholarships
The institution is providing three full scholarships, each covering 100% of tuition fees and including accommodation in a single room.

Six Partial Scholarships

- Two Italian Scholarship Program awards for applicants residing in Italy
The scholarships are intended to support emerging and established artists seeking advanced education in contemporary public art and socially engaged artistic practices.
Program Schedule and Certification
The Advanced Program will officially begin in October 2026 and conclude in June 2027.
Participants who successfully complete the course will receive an Advanced Certificate in Contemporary Public Art, issued by Accademia Unidee – Fondazione Pistoletto.
The certificate recognizes advanced postgraduate-level study and practical experience in contemporary public art, artistic research, and socially engaged creative methodologies.
