Gió Marconi is happy to present André Butzer’s sixth solo exhibition with the gallery, Xylon – Acquarelli, pitture, libri, and poesie 2008 / 2021.
The exhibition emphasizes a crucial aspect of the artist’s practice: the ongoing production of works on paper by Butzer alongside his paintings.
A collection of 11 large-scale, black-and-white figurative drawings from 2008 will be on display in the gallery; they will be on exhibition for the first time and will be shown in conversation with more current figurative and abstract works on paper.

A collection of André Butzer’s poetry from 1999 to 2021 will be published in conjunction with the show André Butzer – Alcune poesie.

At the TASCHEN store in Via Meravigli 17, 20123 Milan, a book-signing for the artist’s recently released André Butzer monograph will take place on September 21 from 6 pm to 8 pm.
