Application Deadline:
May 30, 2025
October 3–5, 2025
The leading visual arts event in the Baltic region, ArtVilnius’25, is now accepting applications from galleries and artists worldwide. Scheduled for October 3–5, 2025, the 16th edition of this renowned international contemporary art fair will be hosted at Litexpo, the largest exhibition and congress centre in Lithuania.
Over three days, ArtVilnius’25 will offer a dynamic platform that connects galleries, collectors, artists, curators, and art institutions from across Lithuania and the globe. Each year, the fair welcomes approximately 70 galleries from more than 20 countries, drawing between 18,000 and 23,000 visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
This year’s fair introduces a new curatorial focus: art collecting in the Baltic States. Organisers will highlight collecting practices through exhibitions, talks, and curated projects — reinforcing the importance of collectors in sustaining artistic ecosystems in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
Expanded Programme and VIP Experiences
Beyond the main exhibition halls, Vilnius will come alive with a vibrant city-wide programme. Guests can expect:
Art talks and lectures
Publication presentations
Guided tours
Professional networking events
An exclusive VIP programme will offer invited guests access to private events and collector-focused sessions. The fair will also recognise excellence through awards for best galleries, artists, and artworks, selected by a jury of international art professionals and public visitors.
Project Zone: Spotlight on Baltic Collections
Located in Hall 4, the Project Zone will be a key feature of ArtVilnius’25. This curated section showcases exceptional private and institutional contemporary art collections from the Baltic region. Curators for this section include:
Maria Arusoo – Curator, playwright, and Head of the Estonian Centre for Contemporary Art; Chair of the Estonian Pavilion at the 60th Venice Biennale.
Inga Lāce – Chief Curator at the Almaty Museum of Arts (Kazakhstan) and renowned international exhibition curator from Latvia.
Sonata Baliuckaitė – Artistic Director of ArtVilnius and long-time contributor to its curatorial identity.
Applications for Galleries: Tailored Stands and Thematic Direction
Galleries interested in participating are invited to apply by May 30, 2025. A panel of art critics and market experts will evaluate submissions, selecting around 60 galleries to exhibit in customisable stands ranging from 30 to 50 square metres.
A special opportunity is extended to emerging galleries — those operating for fewer than three years — through favourable participation conditions. All galleries are encouraged to engage with the fair’s theme by showcasing artist collections, whether solo presentations or curated groupings.
“The Path”: Outdoor Exhibition of Sculpture and Performance
Artists may also apply to participate in The Path, the fair’s annual sculpture, installation, and performance art exhibition. For 2025, this curated group show will be held outdoors at Litexpo and judged by the same trio of respected curators. It serves as a vital platform for artists working in large-scale and experimental formats.

The Litexpo Exhibition and Congress Centre, just 15 minutes from Vilnius city centre, provides an expansive 12,000-square-metre venue with both indoor and outdoor exhibition areas.
