Irish Architecture Foundation seeks Director

The Irish Architecture Foundation (IAF) is looking for a new Director to work with them as they pen the exciting new chapter in their history. In order to position the IAF as a driving force in the advancement of the art and science of architecture, they are looking to hire a highly qualified, enterprising, and driven professional with a strong sense of public involvement.

The selected candidate will exhibit thought leadership in developing and implementing strategic projects and policies that express architecture as a component of culture and society and will present innovative artistic exhibitions, events, and initiatives.

The new Director will be in charge of creating and putting into effect the IAF strategy and overall program in collaboration with the Board, the creative staff, and stakeholders. The position holder will act as an advocate for the IAF, mediating amicably between government and business parties, navigating national and worldwide networks for architecture, urban design, and the arts, and guaranteeing a flourishing profile on a global scale.

IAF is a vibrant, well-known cultural organization that promotes excellence, originality, and variety in the area of architecture. It investigates alternate methods for curation, education, research, and public involvement. It promotes novel concepts, establishes conversation regarding modern architectural practice and its interactions with the individual, identity, society, and environment. The IAF’s job includes introducing people to exciting new possibilities by concentrating on locations and communities where the value of architecture has not yet been appreciated.

A non-profit arts organization, it offers a progressive and well-regarded program spanning five activity streams: Placemaking, Development, Learning, Curated Events, and Open House Dublin. Together, they empower, enlighten, and motivate a large and diverse audience of people.

The correct applicant will have a very appealing opportunity to contribute their skill set and vision to the table and assist the IAF reach even greater heights in the upcoming years thanks to this extremely dynamic and distinctive platform.
