Online symposium: August 25–26
Virtual exhibition: August 25, 2022–June 1, 2023

The virtual symposium and exhibition, Electric Dreams, examines the cyberpunk’s ghosts of doom, contrasting technical advancements with societal degradation and talking about the new realities and opportunities that are currently emerging from that neurological darkness. In order to open up new avenues for investigating cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence and the metaverse and their creative potential, Electric Dreams asks for an interdisciplinary dialogue.

What are the utopias and dystopias of our time, we wonder? Where are we right now, and what, if any, options do we have for the future?
