Nominations for the 2023 Royal Academy Dorfman Award open until December 18, 2022.
The RA Dorfman Award has become a distinguished platform that promotes a greater appreciation of new architecture from throughout the world. The Academy is looking for brilliant architects who are shaping the future of architecture.
The RA Dorfman Award is distinguished in that architects are not nominated by themselves, but by competent and recognized nominators who can be practitioners, critics, or well-informed enthusiasts.
From the nominations, an international jury chaired by Niall McLaughlin RA and including Samira Ahmed, Roksanda Ilini, Farshid Moussavi RA, Vicky Richardson, and Sumayya Vally will choose four finalists who will be invited to London to participate in public events and present to the jury as part of the RA Awards Week in October 2023. The winner will get a prize of 10,000 GBP.
The Academy would like to invite you to join its international group of nominators. Submit up to four suggestions for practices whose work you believe is pushing the frontiers of the architectural field. It is critical that they write a brief but well-informed explanation of why their work is fascinating in the environment in which it is set.
