Kato Six is a Belgian artist that creates sculptures, textile art, drawings, and wall art. In her artistic practice, she explores a variety of themes and turns them into series or ensembles. An oeuvre that combines realistic and abstract art is built on recognizable and commonplace materials and items. References from the worlds of architecture, design, domesticity, and utilitarianism are crucial.

The artworks created by Kato Six are the product of a variety of approaches, with a focus on physicality and the artist’s own creation of the pieces. The materials and forms frequently allude to domestic chores and handicrafts like knitting and crocheting.
