Over 30 artists’ works have been gathered by curator Tracie D. Hall to demonstrate the overall effect of the AIR program at APL/CSRPC. The exhibition will include a wide spectrum of alumni performances, panels, and multimedia pieces.
The summer of All That Light companion programming will begin on July 8 and play on the various connotations of light, including making things visible, illuminating or igniting, and something that is readily carried. We cordially encourage you to engage in online and live events that further examine the artistic practices and output of the participants in the residency program’s first 10 years.

All That Light: A Ten Year Retrospective of the Artists-in-Residence Program (2012–2022) is presented by Logan Center Exhibitions, Arts + Public Life, and the Center for the Study of Race, Politics and Culture. It is made possible by support from Raymond Iwanowski and Erica Noble, the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the Illinois Arts Council, as well as the Revada Foundation, The Reva and David Logan Foundation, and friends of the Logan Center.

During the closing weekend of All That Light, audiences are invited to a culminating performance showcase featuring some of the artists who have participated in the Artists-in-Resident program. The evening includes live music, performance, poetry and film. This ticketed event is free and open to the public. Reservations will be required.

On the closing day of the All That Light exhibition, guests will have the opportunity to join curator Tracie D. Hall and artist Cecil McDonald (AIR 12-13) in a final tour and conversation through both gallery locations. 2–2:30pm at Arts Incubator / 3:30–4pm at Logan Center.
