The Gagosian Gallery in Paris has announced a Christo show in partnership with the artist’s estate. The exhibition, which includes sculptures created in Paris between 1958 and 1963, features the first instances of Christo’s wrapped objects and barrel constructions, many of which are on display for the first time, as well as major works from his seldom seen Surfaces d’Empaquetage and Cratères series. On June 10, the public can view the exhibition, which spans two levels of Gagosian’s rue de Ponthieu gallery, which is located near Christo’s initial Paris studio.
