Applications are now open for the 2025 Maumaus Independent Study Programme (ISP), running from January 9 to July 25, 2025. The programme, organized by art theorist and curator Jürgen Bock, director of the Maumaus School and Residency Programme, offers an immersive and intellectually stimulating environment for artists, art-related researchers, and other professionals.

The 27-week intensive programme includes 312 contact hours and is limited to twenty-two participants. Designed to foster critical analysis and development of art practices, the ISP provides a platform for rigorous yet informal intellectual engagement. Participants will benefit from a blend of critical studies, group discussions, seminars, workshops, and lectures. These sessions will feature insights from internationally renowned artists, filmmakers, art historians, philosophers, sociologists, anthropologists, writers, and social theorists.
