Bauhaus Earth announces the opening of the first open appeal for fellowships.
Bauhaus Earth welcomes applications for experimental projects that generate new information on local, biobased, and circular building while also contributing to the development of a powerful aesthetic for future sustainable architecture.
The Bauhaus Earth Fellowship Program (BE-FELLOW) embraces a diverse range of rising worldwide practitioners in architecture, design and engineering, art, and multidisciplinary architectural production constellations. BE-FELLOW is intended to give Fellows with financial support as well as an intellectual and professional environment in which to pursue promising experimental ideas and novel design techniques in depth.
Fellowship projects are open-ended in nature and are developed and implemented in close collaboration with the BE-FELLOW team. Projects are guided by specific research objectives and often aim to create architectural artifacts of controllable scale that serve as physical and quantitative examples of new building methods. They should strive for longevity and social integration in the actual world.
