Architects Share Ideas for Public Spaces of the Future
The Naomi Milgrom Foundation has announced a stellar line-up of international speakers for the upcoming Living Cities Forum in Melbourne and Sydney. Focused on the theme of “Common Interests,” the forum will explore the future of public spaces in our growing cities.
Visionary architect Nathalie de Vries, co-founder of MVRDV, will be among the keynotes. MVRDV is known for innovative designs that transform urban areas. Professor Lesley Lokko OBE, a leading architect and curator of the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023, will also share her insights.
Other speakers include landscape architects Martí Franch and Jill Desimini, coder and artist Catherine d’Ignazio, and architect Kabage Karanja. These experts will address critical issues like creating inclusive public spaces, utilizing green infrastructure, and designing for climate resilience.
