3:30pm–5pm: Walk & talk with James Quinaz & A.L. Steiner, hosted by Bas Fisher Invitational
Join artist A.L. Steiner (Miami, b. 1967) as she discusses her billboard project Welcome to the Misanthropocene (OrigiSteiner will lead a short river walk and studio visit with artist and designer James Quinaz after the discussion. Quinaz created a collection of furniture for his Bay Store project using only items he collected in Biscayne Bay and the Miami River. Quinaz Studio focuses on environmentally friendly production methods that reduce the usage of dangerous substances and materials.
Free admission; RSVP required, pubic art tour and walk & talk.
