February 22–26, 2023
From February 22 to February 26, 2023, ARCOmadrid will commemorate its 42nd anniversary. National and international galleries may submit applications to take part in the fair’s general program, which will once more serve as the centerpiece of ARCOmadrid, until September 26.
As usual, ARCO will collaborate with each gallery to provide new chances and support their success while also thinking of strategies to draw the most fascinating experts to spark a high-quality and timely discussion.
Quality continues to remain at the core of ARCOmadrid, which is why it will keep its maximum number of artists to a minimum, always proportional to the sizes of the booths, and concentrate on work by individual or collaborative artists. All of this supports ARCO’s core principle of being a fair for discovery.
Thus, “The Mediterranean: a Round Sea” will serve as the main topic of ARCOmadrid 2023, which will continue to focus on the surrounding nations’ artistic communities from south to north and coast to coast. Additionally, Opening, which will once more introduce fresh content to the fair and expand ARCO’s discovery dimension, and Never the Same will remain from prior editions. Latin American Art, which will keep looking into the interaction between Latin American galleries and artists
While other projects launched by Fundación ARCO will seek to promote collecting, ArtsLibris will focus the art publications in a section geared toward getting people started in collecting.
The recognized and reputable ARCOmadrid Forum will offer a setting for research on contemporary art’s present and future, under the direction of curators and experts. And Office: Open For Discussion would encourage ARCOmadrid to act as a catalyst for contemporary art-related thought while luring interested professionals to the galleries.
All galleries interested may present their application to participate on the website until September 26.
