The University of the Arts Helsinki, which consists of the Academy of Fine Arts, the Sibelius Academy, and the Theatre Academy, offers a stimulating setting for education, research, and creative endeavor. Applications for PhD programs run by the Academy of Fine Arts and Theatre Academy are now being accepted.
Academy of Fine Arts
Application period: September 7, 2022–September 28, 2022
Six new students at most will be accepted into the Doctoral Program in Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts. In the fall of 2023, the new PhD students begin their coursework.

Theatre Academy
Application period: September 7, 2022–September 28, 2022
A maximum of nine new PhD candidates may be accepted by the Theatre Academy (TeaK) of the University of the Arts Helsinki to begin their studies in the doctoral program for artistic research in performing arts in the 2023 fall semester.
