Brooks International Fellowship Programme 2023 at Tate in collaboration with Delfina Foundation

Application deadline: November 16, 5pm, GMT
Fellowship dates: April 3–September 17

For the ninth year of the Brooks International Fellowship Programme, Tate and the Delfina Foundation are now accepting applications. Two visual artists will be allowed to work in London for six months starting in April 2023 as part of the Brooks Fellowship program, which will be supported with events at the Delfina Foundation.

Each fellow will work with a Tate team throughout this time, contributing actively to gallery projects and conversations that are linked to their study area. Fellows will be given privileged access to the Tate’s programs, resources, personnel, and networks.

The fellows will live at Delfina Foundation, where they will participate in its public program and contribute to its own program by giving presentations on their study or practice to various audiences.

Two Brooks International Fellows will be welcomed in 2023, one in each of the departments of curatorial and digital and innovation at Tate Britain. Please be aware that the fellowship opportunity in the Tate Digital and Innovation department is the only one for which this open call is being made.

Brooks International Fellowship in Tate Digital and Innovation

Tate is pleased to offer this fully funded Brooks International Fellowship opportunity to digital practitioners and scholars working internationally in Tate’s division of digital and innovation. The Brooks Fellow will undertake research while staying at Tate, where they will be hosted by members of the Digital and Innovation team. The three key study areas for Tate’s digital practice are all centered on digital inclusion and access:

Option one—User research: An end-to-end understanding of audiences who engage with Tate digitally
Option two—User research: Assessing Tate’s approach to understanding and supporting digital audiences
Option three—User research: Digital learning

Researchers from outside the UK are eligible for this opportunity. Please visit Brooks International Fellowships on the Tate Vacancies website and read the complete open call information and application forms for more information about the 2023 fellowship opportunity in Digital and Innovation and to apply.

The Rory and Elizabeth Brooks Foundation’s kind funding makes it possible for Brooks International Fellowships to be fully funded.

Applications close November 16, 2022 at 5pm GMT.
